The Crystal dragon

Reworking a very old piece. I'm finally satisfied with the way the Dragon turned out so I guess this should be the Final-final version I'm going to use from now on in the illustration process. And yes, there will be more of this beautiful creature. I'd like to tell it's... actually Her story, but there isn't really that much to tell. The Crystal dragon was created as a tattoo concept for Radost's brother Hristo when she was at the age of 12. Later in the process of drawing the dragon for the tattoo, she created her imaginary world and her hero, the White Sorcerer Vyatar. In that world where everything is part of the whole, the Dragon, the Ice mointain and the Mountain spirit are the same thing (some may say they represent Radostina's fantasy). And they all serve the ultimate purpose to keep the Heart of the Mountain untouched, because otherwise their world will be destroyed.

So for those who haven't understood it before... Radost and her brother Hristo are characters from my story. And Radost created her own world based on a dragon tattoo design she drew for her brother when she was a child. It's a story within the story kinda thing
I decided that after more than three years of work on this story I should finally draw the tattoo itself, as it was the beginning of everything. In the next few weeks maybe. Wish me luck
